DVWalk/Run Facts
DateDV Walk/Run 2005, our Sixth Annual Event, will be a fun, family-friendly, 5K walk/run on Sunday, October 16, 2005, the event will take place at the Main Lawn in Battery Park in Lower Manhattan. Please join us as we raise awareness and educate our communities about domestic violence. We will show our determination, strength, and dedication by coming together as one to eradicate domestic violence in all of its forms.

The DV Walk/Run kicks off with an opening ceremony hosted by New York dignitaries, celebrities and inspirational survivors. Throughout the day, participating organizations will display their materials; counselors will staff a safety station, and there will be activities for the children, as well as music and special treats!

EVENT SCHEDULE:

Registration Begins at 10:00am, RAIN or SHINE!!!!
Main Lawn, Battery Park, New York City
